about go?"
"Well, I was indeed made a field agent."
"You sound a little wary about it. Wasn't being put
in the field what you wanted?"
"Oh, Ellen I wasn't expecting to be assigned to the
X-Files division to be Spooky Mulder's partner."
"The X-Files? Spooky Mulder?"
"The X-files are the place paranormal hogwash
goes to die, and Spooky Mulder is the incredibly
intelligent crackpot who investigates the stuff."
"An intelligent crackpot, now there's a walking
contradiction."
"I know, but it's true. Fox Mulder throw away a
promising career to investigate little green men."
"Did you just say his first name was Fox?"
"Yes, his name is about as strange as he is."
"Well, is he?"
"Hell yes he's strange."
"No, no, Danes I meant is he a fox?"
"El, why do you have to turn every conversation
into one about the visual merits of men?"
"Because, you haven't had a date for months and
I need reassurance that you can still notice these
things."
"I can assure you that I still notice these things, and
Agent Mulder is definitely well above.... nevermind."
"Agent Mulder is well above what?"
"Ellen, I'm not allowing myself to notice that the man
is sexy."
"SO HE IS A FOX!"
"I didn't say th..."
"... You said you weren't allowing yourself to notice,
but he is sexy isn't he?"
"I'll only admit that he is cute, definitely cute."
"Finally a definitive answer."
Hey, El I have to go I need to pack for my first
case on the field."
"Okay, just don't jump your partner right aw..."
"Bye Ellen"

Scully and Ellen had to have a conversation
